Ingredients : 

1 pound links sweet or spicy Italian sausage
1 pound russet potatoes peeled, cut in half lengthwise, then sliced ¼-inch thick
1 cup of chopped onion
29 ounces chicken broth (2 cans)
1 quart water
2 tsp minced garlic
¼ cup of chopped slices of bacon
kosher salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
2 cups of chopped kale
1 cup of heavy cream

Instructions : 

1. Set the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Next, place sausages on a baking sheet, and roast for about 30 minutes, or until well cooked. Sliced
sausages after draining on paper towels.
3. If you’re using fresh bacon, cook it in a sauté pan until it’s crispy.
4. Cook the potatoes until they are tender in a saucepan with the onions, chicken stock, water, and garlic.
5. Now add salt and pepper to taste, along with the sausage and bacon. Cook for ten minutes.
6. Reduce the temperature. Add cream and kale. To blend, stir.
7. Based on the desired consistency, add additional water.
8. Serve after completely warming.
