Ingredients :

2 ¼ cups of Bisquick
⅔ cup of buttermilk (store bought or homemade)
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp melted butter (use in the dough)
1 tbsp melted butter (brush over the top before and after cooking)

Directions :

1. Set the oven’s temperature to 450° Fahrenheit.
2. Combine your Bisquick, buttermilk, and sugar in a large bowl.
3. Add your melted butter once everything has been blended.
4. Just keep mixing until the dough comes together. Don’t stress about making things too easy at this time.
5. Flour the work surface sparingly and knead for a few minutes. After that, feel free to add more flour if the
dough is too sticky. After touching it, you ought should be able to remove any dirt or debris from your
hands.
6. Now roll out dough to about ½-inch thickness. If you want your biscuits on the higher side, you may leave
the dough thicker. Pat the dough out till it’s the thickness you want if you don’t have a rolling pin.
7. Cut out your round cookies to the size you choose using a biscuit cutter or a glass. The ideal size for me in
biscuits is two inches. To acquire a few more biscuits, be careful to reroll the leftover dough.
8. Place the baking sheet without oil on it. Due to the low dispersion rate of these, close proximity during
baking is acceptable.
9. Apply melted butter on the top.
10. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Check to see if they need additional time at the exact 8 minute mark.
11. Removing the biscuits, brush them once again with melted butter.
12. Serve with sausage gravy, cinnamon butter, or jam!
