Ingredients :

1 tbsp softened butter
4 hamburger buns
1 pound ground chuck
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
4 slices American cheese
4 slices onion
8-12 dill pickle slices
8 tomato slices

Instructions : 

1. Warm a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Swirl some butter around in the skillet.
3. Put the cut-side of the hamburger buns in the melted butter. Give the buns about 60 seconds to toast. Take the buns out of the pan.
4. Make four beef patties, and then put them on the skillet.
5. Press the hamburger patties with your spatula. Press each meat patty onto the pan with a big soup can
covered in aluminum foil.
6. The burger patty will be cooked on one side in around 2 minutes. Do the same on the opposite side after
flipping it over.
7. The opposite side will be cooked in around 60 seconds.
8. Apply salt and pepper to the patties.
9. When you turn the burger over to the other side, add cheese if you want to make cheeseburgers.
10. Place the hamburger patties on the bread after removing them.
11. Enjoy your burger with any preferred toppings, such as onion, pickles, or tomatoes.
